The new track from Hamburg-based band BILBAO is an incredibly catchy indie-pop cut called ‘travel party’. They say: “Damn we missed touring and being on the road! And how much we forgot how completely fucked you can be to finally stand on stage after quite a few miles.” Glittery, jangly guitar work sits at the centre of the track, with thick, distorted bass lines wandering at the bottom of the texture. Clean, memorable lead vocals are the order of the day, but subtle shoegaze influence can be found in the bridge, breaking up the effortless catchiness of the rest of the track.
